Where I'm Going

11/21/2020

In a place within
Where power and purpose meet
The Heart
Anahata, World Healer
The unstruck chord of the heavens
Emanates from her existence
Grief blocks our communion

Tears will flow on this here page
A wasted life consists of wasted days
Where play was brief or in a daze
And highest dreams seem far away

Through fear and pain and hate and lust
My grief has sat, collected dust
The hardest challenge it seems, to love
All I can do is pray above

Help me heal my guilt, my pride
Above all my grief
For I've been taught it makes me weak
That I'd rather sleep in apathy
Or distract myself with plans to be

Please, I wish to be free
-Then discard ideas of what grief means
And let it be-

Then it hits me
In the capacity
To feel grief
Lies invincibility

An immortality of love
Not censoring grief
Means that love can speak
And in that, peace

Transcend Fear

11/6/2020

Fear is a lesson in resistance
Its tendrils black and dry
Choke the life from those who resist
It feeds off of struggle

But if you treat fear as quicksand
You breathe into its grip
It will start to slip
And gently, the script will flip

Wings will sprout from the chrysalis

Flowstate

Flow. Flow. Flow your boat
Gentle down the stream
(of consciousness)
Merrily merrily merrily merrily
Life isn’t as it seems
A focus one seeks
A pain one endures
But flow state isn’t found
In concepts obscure
A presence a power
Found outside hours
Not within time
A presence eternal
And thus sublime
I cannot describe it
But juicy and tasty
And lovely and joyous
And blissful and true
Are all words to describe
Things it can do
The thing that enlivens it within me
Searching endlessly
Is this, ironically, what sets me free?
No
You might catch it
But like water it’ll slip away
Because the infinite is this way
And that is what you search for
And that is why you must learn to play
Play as what, play as where
Ask for now, not for there
The answer will shift
The answer will change
But the knowingness will remain
Let this knowingness itself be the aim

COVID-19

Coronavirus scares
Poppin’ up everywhere
People unaware
That fear itself’s the nightmare.
The panic kills more than the fire
The stampede crushes ordered Empires
What is needed now is resolve, restraint
Caution but wait,
choose the smart path
Don’t contribute to the depression
Stay above, aware that this is lesson
Fear only controls if you resist
Be afraid, but still persist

It's not about me it's about us

It’s not all about me. It’s about us. Emanuel; “God is with us.”
What’s best for me is best for us. What’s best for us is best for me. Individual freedom, to respect the “we.”
What is best for us this eve? Setting straight an awful plea. I do not wish control over thee. I would rather set you free. I wish you’d do the same for me, but never force ya to, ya see?

Masculinity

A form of divinity
The expression expulsion
The server of fate
So misunderstood, in our current date

This one never waits
Its unstoppable will
If used properly
Is: Great

Truth is its ally
As well, unconditional love
Channeled thusly
Masculinity runs free

Oh what joy
When in service, its need
And for the needs of the feminine
In union they breathe

Unconditional Love

Cannot be described in words alone
It both sits upon a throne
And sits level

Timelessly it rules
Better than any jewels
It is the treasure of fools

Those with it are wealthier than any
Those without it cannot describe the pain
Unconditional love is the measure of sane

Willpower

Conscious thrill-power
The fires within spill higher
Upon whatever intention zeroed in
The city of hidden gems
Guarded by a dragon
Conscious attention

Its treasure is opulent
Its riches never end
You can create with it
Like lightning I do
Zapping accurately my truths
Animating them into
A poem for you

Desire

Tantalizing juicy squish
Desire is fuckin’ lit
Flowing colours
Under a bridge

Naked women dancing wild
Springtime air, floral scents
Earthy tones, mud beneath
Letting go, sweet release

Where can I let go but here?
So many steps between me and pleasure
Who has placed them there?
Quit being so unfair

Present sensory flow
Physical, imaginal,
Feelings know
What do I need to glow?

Listening to feelings
Feelings know

Safety

Safety

How many of us truly feel safe?
We seek it like little lizards
Crawling under the tyrants of power
Hoping that beneath them we shan't be squished

It’s amazing how strong our subconsciousness is
Propelling us forward, so long as we don’t wish
Conscious intention the cure to this

Where is true safety to be found?
Empires rise and empires fall
Like a gambler we play the odds
Worse still to be born outside these walls

This empire is on the decline
Is the question “how long can we ride?”
Or can we better use this time?

The Key to Eternal devotion

Close your eyes
Give away surprise
You are not lies
Be what you are trust your mind

Energy being of sublime feeling
Give away all that is needing
Your truth isn’t your’s
Set us all free then

The Key to Eternal devotion
Is seeking
For what you seek so you find
Make devotion what’s on your mind

The Red Serpent

Entering my belly it diagnoses the problem
"Too much control, gotta be like faucet"
Okay, okay I got it

*Goes and meditates*
*Unlocks it*

Rushing like a mighty river
The Ganges, the Nile, Mississipi Queen
The feeling of bliss oh so serene
No blocks or dams inbetween
The moment I've dreamed

Roslin & Adama comes to mind
but you’re not dead
and I’m no admiral
so let’s try the Bergamasque
instead.

There is nothing
No thing HOW?
There is something
Some thing NOW!
There is nothing so beautiful as the way your eyes shine into mine when we are rousing ourselves from dreams, to dream this day.
What brought us here?
Some newtonian motion, pushing us about like marbles..
Colliding into each other.
An invisible hand that guides us?

moonless night

My poem
A moonless night in sight
Darkness not very bright
I was very deep in thought
But nothing was real sought
Moon and stars of blue sky
Night has all these lovely lights
Who will see them at midnight
Calmness sweetness in all sight

Jesus Juice of my Soul

8/19/2017

The Beauty flows best when I let it roll. Let what roll, the thing that takes no toll. The infused Jesus-juice of my soul.

End it there? Why? Scared? You come up with one good line And you want to declare it I’m great! I’m great! Now if only I shared it. Why don’t I do poetry anymore? What’s there to lose? Only my burdens, those awful burdens That I could at once release into the depths The conscious sea of that which is unmanifest Away from my awareness and into the domain Of the one who gazes infinitely.
