Flowstate

Flow. Flow. Flow your boat
Gentle down the stream
(of consciousness)
Merrily merrily merrily merrily
Life isn’t as it seems
A focus one seeks
A pain one endures
But flow state isn’t found
In concepts obscure
A presence a power
Found outside hours
Not within time
A presence eternal
And thus sublime
I cannot describe it
But juicy and tasty
And lovely and joyous
And blissful and true
Are all words to describe
Things it can do
The thing that enlivens it within me
Searching endlessly
Is this, ironically, what sets me free?
No
You might catch it
But like water it’ll slip away
Because the infinite is this way
And that is what you search for
And that is why you must learn to play
Play as what, play as where
Ask for now, not for there
The answer will shift
The answer will change
But the knowingness will remain
Let this knowingness itself be the aim
