Expansion

The world is limitless but my life's a routine
You know you'll get fat if you always eat poutine.
There needs to be balance an expansion of sorts
Into worlds unseen, and lands to report.

The universe is loud, its quiet its both
The closer you get to the Source.
You realize it is anything
But still nothing at all.
The mystery of life befalls
All of us so let us talk
Discover, share, and learn
And see whats next when the tables turn.

A shift in my consciousness is what I've earned
Something new here and a new thing there
All illusory but the lessons I swear
Are changing me from naughty to fair.

Taking my sweet time, surely I am
But I promise you friends
Today I'll make amends
Right now I'll mend ends.

A push up here, a meditation there
A practice of this and of that,
To undo the routines of faulty habits
You must start clean and freshly anew

Like a drop of dew
Sweet mountainous dew
Dripping down from leafy crispness
A pure clean drop of H2O

It heats and it rises
The air it guides it
And down unto the earth once more
The cycle of creation is mine alone.
