Long Time No Rhyme

I'm working on a poetry book
Now I know that's no excuse
But here's a look
I'm writing things so the world is shook
Not violently, but like a tango
I want to dance a heavenly dance
Like Django, but less racist stance
I want to be filled with romance
And laughing hierophants
Hieroglyphic magic pants
That girls wear make me entranced
There's more to say
Let's take a glance
What happens is more than happenstance
This rhyme is here for all the jants
I believe the word is gents but you get my recompense
Now the rhyme has fallen like a Jedi in a swampy land
We need Yoda to tell us how to raise our hands
Take back our land, freedom can
Rise up my children, take your stand
This is our land not McDonald's plans,
Or bankers' demands, or foolish corruption man's.
Our land, so take your stand
And dance, man.
