Some poems take skill
Some do what you feel.
Isn't it unreal
How quick things can change
To what you appeal?
The world is so ready to please
But we hold on to dis-ease
Rejecting what we want for some more of these.
Why are we diseased?
It's all mental unpeace
We need to see a release
But it takes more then police
Or armed invasions to make a scene.
It takes a thought inside the most impenetrable fortress of all
The mind.

At least your mind should be a fortress. The heart loves, the mind speaks.

What is the thought?
If I do what I think, and I think of what I do
Am I not the cleverest one of all of you?
But I am not doing that
Most aren't .

Mindfulness is hard.
It takes true courage.
To see the world as it wants to be seen
Is a goal only for the mighty
That's we.
You see we aren't just lost animals
On a stranded rock,
God forsaken and trapped in gravitational plots,
We are a blur of different opinions and perspectives
Making different Universes of our own
So sing your own song
Make it good, no make it truthful
And see how much it's loved when they unearth you.
