I don't know why I'm lying about this.

When I look into the sky I can see a million different colors.
I feel the numbers in the air

I've parted ways with other paths
But these have never left me scared

On this journey we all feel broken,
sick and out of reach of repair

Today I stand a new man,
I see the position in which I stand
Did you ever think that your words
Could make it clear to me

Which way the wind in the sky blows,
I am drifting through a dream

Ive got one eye further opened,
If you know just what I mean

I didn't mean to lie to you,
It's just that I didn't know how to say
This life has been amazing

But now I have to die.

I stood scared before the doorway
I didn't know how to part
With all the broken pieces, that are cluttering my heart.

I took a deep breath inward
To see if I could breath them all away
But still I stood here thinking

Do I go or do I stay?

It's a question that I'd been asking,
with no answer clear in sight.
So still I'm dreaming of an answer,
to get my soul to take flight

This was me in another lifetime,
Another one in which I was distraught…

But now I stand here with an answer,
Its burning love light in my heart..

I don't know if you are the same person as Mr. Mister, Dr Doctor, or other assorted aliases that have posted here over the past little while, but I do enjoy the mystery, and I encourage you to post as you will. Your poems are truly breathtaking, and inspire me on a spiritual level.
