Waiting in Vain

Could we be loved?
If only we realized the only thing to realize
Oh my, when it hits you feel surprised.
The power, there, always inside?
How could I not have seen the insight?
This has been laying dormant right beneath my eyes?
I feel like I could die, and still be, still alive.
How do I feel as such?
Let me tell you
There is much.
But for now hear my word
The love of life itself is enough for her
And him, the awareness that consciousness is.
If I haven't lost you let's have a chat
Don't take a seat, we must stand to rap.
